| Hi. I am new to Dremel, and I am using the tool primarily for miniatures. Here's my question: Is the Stylus compatible with the 4486 chuck? Or do I have to have 4 different sizes of collets on hand to use the drill bits? Thanks!

The 4486 works great, I even went out and bought 2 more for the other Dremel tools I have.. You really need it for drilling with small bits. I recommend it very much -JET

So, what's the story? One reply says yes it will work, the other says no it won't?

| I have a chuck on all my Dremels and they work fine. In using attachments you may have to mount the tool first as the chuck will not clear the hole in the attachment you are using, then put the chuck on the tool. I use a bit size of 3/64 most of the time up to a 1/8 with no probs. Ted!
