580 table saw

By AndyG - Thursday, April 27, 2006

Q1: Since Dremel no longer makes the 580 table saw, is there an owner's manual somewhere that can be freely shared? Preferabally electronic version that can be downloaded, or emailed? and please share where I can find it.

Q2: Other than ebay, is there a source that anyone knows of for blades for the 580 (specifically 100 tooth)?

Q3: I just purchased a 580 on ebay, and the 40 tooth blade is dull, can anyone share a good source to get blades sharpened?

Thanks in advance,

Thank you very much for the information.

Q1: If I order from the link you provided, do I use the 3-3/8" blade? Q2: The more teeth the cleaner cut?
Q3: Is there a blade that I can use to cut aluminum, and brass, or perhaps the same one?

I will gladly wait for you to send me a copy of the owner's manual. Do you need my email address or how does that work in this forum?

Thank you very much,

I also have an old 580-2 table saw and would love to have a copy of the operating manual when it is available. Thanks.

ACLRAILROAD1943 has some great accessories.  I've already accessorized 1 of my Dremel 580 Table Saws with all of his accessories.  They're top notch, far better quality than the OEM stuff.  I've started accessorizing my 2nd Dremel 580 table saw that I recently purchased off ebay.  So now the fun begins all over again.  The 2nd saw though is the 1st model so it has the 1/4" or 0.25 size motor and arbor shafts so I purchased the cogged belt conversion kit.  Now my saw easily cuts through 1-1/2" thick materials with ease.  Absolutely no belt slippage causing the belt to fly off.

Here's a great link for some more information on the Dremel Table Saw.

I have also attached the PDF version of the Dremel Table Saw Owner's Manual that I have.

Hopefully this helps you out.  I know its a bit late LOL.
