At $30.00 each to replace, I looked for an alternative. I purchased the Dremel Driver because of its compact size and light weight. The LiOn battery voltage was comparable to the Dewalt, and I thought it could do a comparable job. I found that the Dremel Driver is superior in all aspects to the DeWalt. It has more driving power for a much longer time, is easier to handle, and does away with clutches, folding handles, etc in a simple uncomplicated tool. After 3 years of hard use, my Dremel Driver stopped working. On the advice of a Dremel tech consultant, I sent my out of warranty tool back to Dremel for repair. Dremel promptly sent me a new Dremel Driver to replace my inoperable one which was one year out of warranty. Dremel sets a standard that the rest of the world should emulate.
