Dremel Router Bits for Derby Car

I want to create a new channel beneath and athwart my derby car in order to receive a 3/8" dowel used as the axle. I see a routing bit 617 (I think) Core Box bit that would make the chanel for me, but it's the wrong size. Where can I find a 3/8" Diameter round nose router bit (1/8" shank) that I could use on my Dremel to route the "half-pipe" channel needed for my axle?

My understanding is that not all Lowes are having Tuesday evening Pinewood Derby Car demonstrations by Dremel.

The closest Lowes near me in Los Angeles is 11 miles away and the next two are about 15 and 20 miles away, respectively.

How do I find out which Lowes near me will have the demo? I phoned the 800-993-4416 number and only got info on which Lowes were near me, not a human who could tell me which branches were having the demo.

Maybe Dremel could post a calendar showing the Lowes locations holding the demos?

I see lowe's is suppose to have a demo on how to build a pindwood derby car using all the dremel tools. 2 lowes locations in durham nc had no clue about it, even thought I found a dremel display listing details?

I am new to scouts/pinewood derby/ and Dremel tools.
Anyone have thoughts on how the dremel tools would work for this and also what other types of wood work or crafts can I do. I am new to all this but seems like a neat hobby?
