Just bought the Stylus. I have it charging right now and plan to give it a try this evening. I handled one that was on display at Lowe's amd really liked the feel of it, Felt like it will be alot easier to control. I do have one question though. On a full charge, and with normal usage, (nothing that would over work it), and not keeping it in the docking station, how long will it normally run?
I asked this on anther forum, three days ago, and never got an answer. So, I hope that I can get one from this group, since it specifically deals with the Stylus.
Thanks!
Hooty

The answer is:
It depends on what you are doing. That is the first response you'll get in regard to any battery powered tools. Heavy uses are going to use up the juice faster. Since this is technically a light duty tool and not meant to be worked as hard as others, I'd guess that you could expect it to last 30-45 minutes on one charge. I have not timed this out with my own stylus though so that is just a guess. I did think that it was lasting pretty well the first time I used it but I did not time it out and a person's perspective of time vs. the reality of time can be drastically different.

I realize you did say "normal" usage but one person's "normal" can be very different than another person's.
If you notice the time when you use it the first few times, until it HAS to be recharged, please let others here know what you've discovered.

My First Dremel purchase for my woodshop was the stylus, and with regard to the charge time, I was a bit disappointed. After the 3hour charge I put it to the test with a carved sign project im working on. The full charge was gone in 30 minutes. I really liked the grip, and the ease of use, but not in charge time. I'll keep it around the shop for quick sanding jobs, and touch-ups.
