Best way to get your dog used to and not scared of the tool is to turn it on and play with him/her. Problem is, even without a bit, the spinning collet can get stuck in tender fur and traumatize your pet.

We need a snap on or screw on cap that covers the empty collet so the tool can be turned on safely around the pet during the acclimation process.
