Best Thing to Cut Screws

I built a tank stand for my fish tank and unfortunately all the store had were 4 inch screws. Of course they were too big and about an inch of each screw pokes out the other side. What is the best bit or tip to get all these screws flush with the wood?

BTW - I have used to standard cutting bits and it works but just not as smoothly cutting as I hoped. Maybe diamond tipped cutter? Ideas/suggestions plz!

I would use the #426 or 456 fiberglass reinforced cut-off wheel or may be a #545 diamond wheel. But the fiberglass is my fav for doing something like that.

Does anybody have a favorite place where they find their dremel bits/parts? Everytime I go to Home Depot or Lowes they always seem to be out of the thing i need and have 10 of what I do not need.

I mostly order my tools from Widget supply. I know this takes longer than you want to wait right now. So I would say to try Wal-Mart or any hardware in your area. The address for Widget is.

As with Doug I use the reinforced cutoff wheel but I clean up the end with a small Al Ox grinding stone. This way I can get the screw end neatly flush with the material and remove any jagged edges.
