Hi Folks, I just purchased a 400 XPR and am looking forward to using it. The project that got me to purchase one is that I have a stone patio and in a couple of places the mortar in between the stones has come loose so I want to grind some out to patch it. Anyone have experience doing that and if so what bits would you recommend? Actually as I was looking into getting one, I learned of things it can do that I needed to do anyway. As in a grout remover, I’m re-do the Master Bath and my bride asked we can redo that in the shower, now I know I CAN! Also now I know I can re-sharpen my chainsaw blades. JJ

Hi JJ
I'm glad you are learning how to use your Dremel tool. If you haven't already gotten the Model 568 Grout removel Attachment tool I would do so the bits that come with it work ok for removing grout but not for what your wanting. I think the #562 Carbide removal bit will work good for your job. If it doesn't make another post as to what it is doing. Please let us know anyway. Thanks
Doug

I haven't done it but I seen it done and it looked easy they had the tool set to reach the bottom and get all the grout Just don't rush the tool let the speed do the work.
