Hi All,
Had been reading some on-line reviews of the Dremel scrollsaw. One of the features was a wheel sander on the side. I noticed on the newer models that the sander was not included or mentioned. Is that option discontinued?

Thanks.

Chris

Ok the best I can tell the scroll saw with the sander has been discontinued and replaced with a new one. I don't know why it may have been to many problems I don't know. But no sander on the scroll saw anymore. You can most likely find one on eBay if you look.

Thanks Doug.
Do you have any experience with this saw? Just curious.

Thanks again for your replies.

Cheers.

No I have never used one. I would love to have one but I'm running low on funds right now. With practice you can cut some real pretty work.

Hi Doug, when you say it has been replaced with a new one, where could I find one of them and also what is its model/part number.

Thanks in advance

Hi Toni, the old one is the 1800-01, 18" variable speed scroll saw this is the one with the sander. It has been discontinued. The one that replaced it is the 1830-01, 18" variable speed this one can be found where ever they sell Dremel. For the old one you might find it on eBay.
