If you use a small but accurate square, and measure the inside walls of the tool. you will find it is not a 90 degree corner. When placed in cutting position the tool does not lay square on the cutting edge of the door you are cutting. This allows for the cutter to cutt 1 or 2 degrees unsquare. Just take your aquare and measure the insilde edges. May be this doesn't hurt anything, but I couldn't be OK with any work I used it on. I tried to have this question answered by the Bosch, (or dremel) engineering folks but never got an answer.I would like to hear from some of you demonstraters to give your opinion on this item. Maybe I am out in left field on this.but I would like to hear what you guys think.

You can add plastic tape with varied thickness on the inside wall of the planer to make it square as you wish. I think I have read a thread on the old message board which this topic was discussed estensively. Actually, the planer itself came with a platic shim which you can stick via double sided tape.
