I would like to know Dremel people's opinion on this matter. They ought to know something about it or at least be able to give a clue on it.

You will lose the cutter or waht ever you have in the chuck BUT you will get out if you put the cutter in a vice and turc on the end of the chuck at most you may have to replace the chuck,
