****o,
I'm a university student with an art hobby I recently bought the new Dremel cordless rotary tool, and it works great, I love the accuracy and ability to handle detail. I'm currently working on an engraving piece - it will later turn into a clock - and I'm trying to figure out how to remove some of the larger areas - I'm working on 3/4 inch ply and I'm only trying to remove a layer or two. Now I'm having no problems dealing with the smaller finer sections, it's when it comes to "clear cutting" big areas that I find myself taking a long time! Any one have any suggestions, I'm still fairly new at all this and this is actually my very first post.
Any help would be appreciated.

Check into a plunge router you may have to freehand with it on a circle but it will keep you set at any depth you need.

That sound like an idea. Does that plunger router attachment fit the new Dremel Stylus? cause I had a look at the info on it and it said "Converts your corded rotaty tool into a plunge router"

I don't know if it will fit the stylis or not. Take your tool into lowes or wal-mart or many other places that sell Dremel. Take it in write you SN Number down and report to the custormer service. This is to let them know its yours.
Maybe a floor worker will help you find the router and help you to see if it will fit.
