Hi Dremel folks and friends!

I just wanted to mention an aptitude test that was done in the local premises of Robert Bosch Argentina - Dremel related to the new EZ 545 EZ Lock 1-1/2" Diamond Wheel and I wish to share with you.

They emptied and egg in the regular way perforating a hole at each end of the largest axis and later on divided the s**** in two cutting it out with above mentioned 545 EZ Diamond. Result was a perfect clean cut of the undamaged eggs**** in two neat halves.

I hope this helps so many in the forum looking for the proper accessory for their enjoying dremelife.Tongue

Hi Bruce!

Before anything else let me clarify something: After I had already posted the above comment I realize that in reading it, it  looks as if it were something that is only possible with the EZ 545. That is not my intention and as a matter of fact I have no experience with either the EZ nor the regular 545 diamonds and therefore cannot compare as I also presume that they are the same.

Secondly, I don't know what they did with left over of the egg and if they had to use may of them in which case they could have scrambled them into a nice lunch! Be sure I can't say anything to your wife (I live far away South) except that Dremel makes homes happier as you may have read in this forum posted by Kitecork some time ago. Yes, we have written quite a chapter here, some time ago, about wives and Dremel with Dough and Kitecork and the risk to be kicked straight to the moon.

Enjoy life and also DremelTongue

I would just like to see ideas for uses of the wheel.

The rest was a poor attempt at humor. Sorry.

I'm so sorry not to please you! I humbly gave a fact that came to my knowledge expecting that someone who had used the accessory and knew better than I do would give his or her opinion. The humor as you call it is only an attempt to ignore the arrogance that doesn't fit in this forum.

Hi Bruce! Sorry, but I don't get you. I've been looking a couple of dictionaries, being one of them a synonyms and antonyms type and really didn't help me much. So I consulted the huge Oxford English Spanish to see if I could find out through a translation but nothing seems to be the situation for a proper answer. It usually takes me quite a time to translate inches and feet into metrical and also to find out what folks in the forum mean with some plain shop terms, but this time you beat me Bruce! Let me explain that although English was my first language we spoke at home and later on went a to an English grammar school here, also lived for more than a year at New York City and also worked for a large American bank so it was partly my everyday working language, it's not the case actually. My parents are all gone and except when I meet some foreign tourist I don't have much of a chance to practice it. As soon as I practice a few days I'm able to catch up and believe me, not long ago, an American couple asked me when I was going back home. Going to your message I presume that the meaning comes with something that is taken for granted and not expressed, and there is where I failed. Perhaps you can explain a little more what you mean so I can give you an answer. Thanks Bruce and sorry again

Hi Doug! Thanks a lot. Well, it's not so dramatic! I'm used to translate inches to cm and viceversa since I have use of reason. We use both measures always here since both kinds are regularly used, though the metric system is getting to be slowly the basic standard.  Actually I have a regular metal tape just beside the pc and just look directly. I have many tables for written or on calculator programs at hand but the basic is that I'm used to "think in metric" and later translate mentally or with help, and that happens whether I "think in english or in spanish. Anyway it only means that I do what everyone else in the world does. In my explanation to Bruce I'm trying to explain to him that some things, as perhaps local expressions, or maybe slang, is something that takes a time to understand and sometimes unable to do so. For example he used expressions in his last message which I still don't get. Also in your message I still could not understand what you mean in: "Please give no invense" and so I'm not sure what your message considers in the last part. Sorry, Doug, but as I explained the lack of use of the language makes my wording a little stiff, at least it's what I feel. But anyway, and please, I dont' think that all this is an important issue for the forum and therefore out of the question for all other people who share their views, experience and questions. Thank you very much Doug, again, for you intention.

Enrique
