I've been trying to sand down and refinish an old table of mine. All the flat surfaces were easy, but now I've reached the legs, which have both curves and small corners to get into.

I was hoping the dremel might be a help, but the standard sanding bits are worse than useless (I think in part because the whole thing is very heavily varnished). Does anyone have any suggestions on any accessories or anything that would help?

Try using a sanding buff looks like a scotch pad on a stick.
