I would use the # 561 Multipurpose cutting bit you really need the multipurpose cutting kit model 565.

Hi Matty78 and welcome to the forum
You can find an article on pumpkin carving in the "Projects and Community" section of the Dremel web site. Here's the link:
Pumpkin Carving
You can also do a forum seach by clicking "Search" toward the top of this page. If that doesn't turn up the info you want a web search should do the trick. Here are a couple of links I got from a quick search:
Pumpkin Carving 101
Carving Pumpkins
Hope that helps

Hi All
I ran across another web site featuring pumpkin carving.
Villafane Studios
There are some cool pumpkins there and a tutorial when you scroll down the page far enough.
Happy Halloween

| I just bought a new Dremel Cordless, and I'm also interested in knowing what bits to use for pumpkin carving. Are these bits able to cut through the pumpkin, or are they only able to etch into the surface of the pumpkin? Steve

The bits I mentioned are able to cut through a cleaned out pumpkin.
