Did another one today of my daughter.

Then cut down a cedar tree behind the house and made a frame for it.

Then put a light and switch on the back of it.

I agree with Doug

Did you get the idea for the frame from those modder links?

Also, did you use your Dremel to fashion the frame?

Actually I've built a frame like that before. But I did get the idea for the light from the links. I used my dremel to route the hole for the switch and light.

Thank Southerocker

Although I worded the question badly, I did get the answer for which I was looking. Namely, that you were able to adapt the information in the case modder tutorials to your own project.

I was also hoping my silly questions would stimulate those new to Dremel use to ask their own questions because there is a lot of information on what can be done with a Dremel and not as much on the "How To" side.

Thanks for showing us your creations!

Curt

After some internet searching I did find where I can buy some plexiglass fairly cheap. http://www.estreetplastics.com/Plexiglass_Sheets_Clear_s/21.htm

I want to try my next one with plexiglass and do the LED thing on the side. I'll post the results when I'm done.

Here's another with plexiglass. I plan on putting led's on the side of this one and then frame it.

I got the led's put on but I still need to build a frame for it. I used the instructions from here. http://metku.net/index.html?path=mods/multilayer-animation/index_eng2

Here it is without the flash on the camera.

Here it is with the flash.

Here it is with the led's turned on.
