I WANT TO PURCHASE A 6300-01 MAINLY FOR SANDING IN TIGHT CORNERS. THE SIDE TO SIDE ACTION WORRIES ME. ORBITAL WON'T LEAVE SCRATCHES ACROSS GRAIN. DOSE THE SIDE TO SIDE ACTION LEAVE CROSS GRAIN MARKS THAT WILL SHOW UP WHEN STAINING?

The sanding action appears to be modeled on a Fein Multimaster. If it works the same, you can definitely sand corners without cross grain scratches. Depending on the wood species you are working with, you may have to experiment to find the finishing sanding grit that is satisfactory. greg
