I would like to know if this has the power of other cordless drills. I have a 9.6v b/d cordless

Hi Doug. Unfortunately power is relative to the job at hand and the time involved in completing the task. The drill driver operates at low rpm and will drive a 3" screw through solid wood however it wil not drive the same number of screws that your 9.6B&D will. However for small jobs around the house it is fantastic and don't let the size fool you as if can do most anything. I used a Bosch drill driver when I set up for demos but now with the drill driver I dont need the Bosch to do this task.

| Hey Doug, I'm a little late getting in on this discussion, but I have one thing to add. I thing the size and weight of the driver are its biggest advantage. It is powerful for its size, but by being small and light it is easy to use in tight spaces or just to stick in your pocket in between uses.  Still goggleeyed here in NC, but trying hard to be safe and still get it done.

| I recently re-habbed an old discarded park bench. My Dremel driver had all the power I needed for removal of the rusted bolts. Where the rust was too heavy I used my rotary to just cut 'em. Like they said, don't plan to build a deck with it but I believe that it has plenty of power for the majority of home jobs.
