Dear All
I have previously imported a scroll saw station from States to Singapore and has been operating it with a step down transformer and i have to say it has served me well.
However, recently the saw went nutters on me (the motor will spin faster than usual). So after taking out the control board to have a look, I realised the transformer on the control board has fried.
Does anyone know the specs for that transformer (as in what voltage to what voltage?) as sending the item back to States for service is not an option.

Hi Kaomoo. I am not sure to understand exactly your question. However I presume that you imported from the U.S. your scroll saw and bought somewhere else your transformer which has now fried out. I was looking into U.S Dremel's page to find out some of the specifics and found out its working electrical conditions are of 120 volts, 60 Hz, 1.8 Amps. Now, in Singapore you have 230 volts at 50 Hz. Therefore you need a transformer from 230 to 120 volts but make sure that it can deliver 1.8 amps at 120 volts, otherwise you will burn it out sooner or later and at the same time your machine will be delivering less power. On the other hand I don´t think that the 60 to 50 Hz difference will do any harm, only maybe a little slower. I hope to be clear enough so as to give you a guide. Anyhow it´s not a difficult question to solve. Just come back ir you need it.

My apologies for not being clear.
Let's leave the bit out about me importing the item from States. Was merely explaining why it's not an option to ship back to states from singapore. And that I have been running the saw at appropriate voltage with adequate current.
My problem is that the control circuit within the scroll saw has died. I have isolate the problem to the primary step down transformer within the control circuit, picture shown above. Basically the transformer has fried.
I am attempting to repair the unit myself, as, obviously, there are not service centre for Dremel in Singapore. Hence I am looking for either part or specs of the said transformer.
