The battery in my Dremel died so I've decided to turn it from cordless to "corded".

Does anyone know the wattage/current rating of the motor inside my Dremel?

P/N 5296563382863

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

M'kay... I didn't figure I'd get any help on this particular subject. I went ahead and tossed together something.

I took out the six AA batteries in the battery pack. I found a 9v 200mA power transformer (closest I could find to 7.2v) and took it apart. I couldn't find the exact current rating of the motor but after some searching I found out that the charger puts out 200mA. I put in some round copper pieces where the batteries used to stick out of the battery pack. A few resistors later. Voila

I just wish Dremel made something like what I tossed together.

Do you have details on how you converted from battery to corded on your MultiPro Cordless 7.2V Model 770 Type 1 ?  The picture on web blog does not show up.  What resistors and contacts did you use?
