With hard water the minerals eventually clog holes in the showerhead, so I used a wirewheel brush on low speed on my 400 to cleanout mineral deposits and was able to make a significant improvement in the waterflow without having to purchase a new showerhead.

 Great way to use the ol' noggin'. Never thought of that one, and I'm going through 2 or 3 shower heads yearly coz I rent. Thought I'd tried everything.... thanks!

| Though not a Dremel use at all, use straight vinegar and either take the shower head off or rig a way to strap a container so the shower head can submerge into the vinegar. I have stripped the shower head apart and dropped the parts into vinegar. Depending on how hard the water is, (ours is pretty hard and this works over night for me, though it can take a 24 hour soak to break a tough job free. If the shower head isn't up too par, just dump the vinegar and soak again. The fresh vinegar will finish the job. RJF

| USE CLR Why ream out those tiny holes with a DREMEL? Get some "CLR (brand name) " from your local Lowe's/Home Depot etc and just soak the showerhead in it overnite. This too, is a DREMEL solution!! Jim
