Hi,
My name is John and I have been using the dremel with the cutting wheel for years. I'm a appliance technician and owner of ApplianceJunk.com
I think my dremel is around 20 years old now. Here is a photo of me using it to cut off a spanner nut on a Maytag washer so I can remove the tube.

I still remember the first spanner nut I busted off before I found bought a dremel. What a killer that job was. Oh how happy I was after I started using the dremel with the cutting wheel.
I should also note I'm a bit of a forum junkie so I hope you don't mind me hanging around a bit to see what I can learn.

Thanks for the welcome Dougmo60.
I feel the need to go by a new dremel, lol..
The one I have serves me just fine, but like I said it's years old.
I may start finding many more uses for a dremel too after hanging here for awhile.

Hi ApplianceJunk
From one forum junkie to another welcome
I apologize for the belated welcome which can be blamed on the ice storm that blew through here and left me without electricity for two weeks.
Putting a link to your site in your signature is a good idea. Before the storm hit I was checking the stat logs to my site and found quite a few referrals from dremel.com.
If you post it they will come
I just registered on your forum, so you may be seeing some contributions from me particularly in the PC repair section when I get caught up on my other forum activities.
If you are a true forum junkie, you may be interested to know of some other Dremel related sites. Facebook has at least two Dremel groups and then there is
Dremelforum.com
on which I happen to be a moderator.
Again welcome and look forward to reading more of your posts.
Curt

My wife took our girls to her sister's house in Florida. I stayed with a relative that had radiant gas heat because work kept me from going to Florida.
