Hi: I have just purchased a Stylus and was wondering if anyone has used it as a tool for making jewelry. My interests lie in cutting, engraving and distressing and/or polishing metal. (Nickel, Brass and Silver) Is there anyone out there who uses it for this purpose. I don't know where to start and would welcome any tips you have gained through your experience with this. Thanks.

Hi Artsy Mama,

Welcome to the board! I'm sure many users have helpful advice to share, but I also wanted to let you know about an additional resource you might find useful. We just featured Lori Bergmann in the January eNewsletter. She uses Dremel tools all the time for jewelry projects. You might enjoy her blog: http://www.loribergmann.blogspot.com/.

Best of luck, and we'd love to see what you create!

Hi there;

I would like to know if anyone on the forum knows if there is a tool that Dremel has  that will twist wire.  I have bought several Dremel tool sets and all in all, I think that I might have the tool I need.  Maybe some one can tell me if Dremel has a Wire Twister?

Thank you

Dremel does not have a wire twister. I don't know if it can be done due to the high speed of the Dremel.
