The doors on my pet carriers had become so rusty I am embarrassed to go to the vet's. It finally occurred to me it would be a good Dremel project. I'm using my Dremel 300 with a FlexShaft attached (the 300 is hanging from a Work Station), and a 428 carbon steel brush.

Even though I had read the directions, by the time I started the project I forgot and went a little too fast and didn't angle the brush properly (about 15 degrees). As a result, there was a lot of bristle breakage initially. Bringing the speed down to a "2" and slightly angling the brush for better contact resolved that problem.

It's working great and the doors I've completed look 100% better.

My next project will be the rusty toilet bolts. I'll use my cordless 10.8V for that one.
