help, somehow I lost or misplaced the mandrel screw. does anyone know what size screw will replace the missing one? now I know why Dremel has the new EZ lock system.  the tiny mandrel screw must be a common lost item. need to get a couple spares. hopefully the local hardware store has the right size (once I know what size that is) thanks in advance

Don't even bother looking for one, Vqlt.  Unless you do a lot of electronics repair, you won't find them.  They're cheaper to buy than they are to actually *buy*.

That's probably the #1 most used mandrel and it's included in every bit set you'll find.  In a year, you'll have more of them than you know what to do with.  They're just like the grinding stones that keep multiplying in the toolbox.  Just pick up some spares off the above site until you get your next bit set.

Welcome to the board, btw.
