The rotary switch on the model 800 cordless rotary tool controls both the power on/off and the rotation speed. When I last put the tool away in the case, I must have bumped the switch just enough so that it was drawing power without spinning the chuck. The next time I went to use it the battery was completley dead and needed to be recharged. It would be much better if there was a seperate on/off switch.
