I had my son put my dremel into a literal melt down (smoke and all). I would not send the Dremel in since he fried it. Unfortunately the part I needed was the only part on the schematic that did not have a part description or part#. I called the 800 number and spoke to customer service. You talk about a surprise, this person was in Wisconsin, did not have an accent and new exactly what I needed. The part was called a switch assembly and cost $18.70 which includes shipping and tax. I ordered the part and it will be shipped today. Had a nice conversation with her and she was very helpful and pleasant. It is a nice change to speak with competent customer service people tyhat know their products and that you can actually understand. Thumbs up Dremmel, and thanks for a great experience. You guys are the BOMB !!!!!
If it ain't broke don't fix it !!
