Has the driver just been released or has it been out for a while? I stopped by Home Depot as well as a few other big-box stores and I'm not able to find one to look at.

-Thanks

Thanks Bruce. I'll probably eventually order on-line, I just wanted to look at it first. Maybe the stores near me will get them in soon.

If you have a Lowes close by check it out there, OR try their website.

Ops! I just looked in my local Lowes, and they did NOT have one to look at. OK Maybe Home Depot?

Been looking since I posted this.. still no luck. I looked also in the stores listed and no one has it in stock. I wanted to see it before I buy it. Oh well... I wanted it for household, lighter duty work.

I think you would like one they are small but hold a lot of charge. They work great for small household chores.

They will not replace a 14.5 volt or higher but their not suppose to.

I was told by Customer Service today that the driver has/will be discontinued. It's a shame - I bought it for the design - I sometimes have hand and wrist issues. As it turned out the men of the house like the convenience and the ease of using it in tight spots.

Maybe it didn't sell well or they are coming out with a newer design. I bought two for $35 each. One for me, one for a gift for someone.
