Hi,

I'm trying to clean up some knifes made of carbon steel. I've found that the flap wheel and the abrasive pads work great for getting all of the rust off.. But after that the steel shows some pretty good scratches.. I REALLY don't want to sand the pieces by hand going up through high grits to get back to a nice mirror polish...

Are there any attachments that have high grit sandpaper (up to 2200) that I can use to finish off these blades and make 'em nice and shiny again?

Thanks
David

Welcome David
I would use the emery impregnated polishing wheel #425 then after you have taken all the scratches out go to the #414 felt pad and use it with the polishing compound
