MultiMax manual error? Emtag removal? Expand / Collapse

1. This may have been discussed already, but isn't there an error in the MultiMax manual: pg 10? The blade descriptions for MM422 and MM440 appear to be reversed. Not a big deal, but a little confusing when trying to determine tool speed settings.

2. What is that Emtag gadget on the power cord of my MultiMax? It looks like it's maybe a store item ID device. If so, can't I remove it, even though it says not to? Is there any advantage in leaving it on the tool?

Go to Customer Service, then Manuals , then down load MultiMax Accressory page. U need Adobe Reader 8 or 9

Do not worry about the EMTAG. It is attached to the cord so that you do not walk out of the store with a tool  that you haven't paid for. It is de-activated once you pay for the tool. And, yes, Grasshopper, you may cut the EMTAG off. BUT DO NOT CUT the power cord. OK?
