****o,

I would like to understand if Dremel (Dremel 4000) is a good tool to work with Jewlery (polish and cut). I will have to use the fleshaft and woundering if dremel can handle the precision requirements while working with jewlery.

                 Thanks, Marcos.

With a little practice the Dremel 4000 can handle any light duty arts and crafts that you put it too. The New 4000 has the power to run all of Dremel accessories and bits I would love to get one but I just bought the Dremel 400 XPR.

Remember to practice on junk pieces before you start on the project you are going to tackle practice makes perfect.

sure you can,but you must use either the flexshaft or detailer's grip. plus you must have very stable hands. finally you need to secure it in a vise or somthing and if you use the flex shaft the put it over your workpiece with a flexshaft stand

The DREMEL  tool will do whatever  you want it to do, as long as you put the right bits into it and let  the tool's  speed do the work for you.

You are a jeweller. You will need specialized bits to do the work for you.

See your local rock shop or your findings supplier. I bet that they use DREMEL tools themselves.
