Hi everyone,

I am interested in creating wooden brooches- cut out shapes from thin wood.

Having never ever worked with wood before, I am unsure of what to do, or even how to do this (or even what wood i would need to buy).

I was researching and discovered the Dremel Tool, and it looks great - but I can't tell exactly which one I need- can I get away with the cheapest model? will i need any accessories to help me out?

can you help me out? I don't have alot of cash - so cheaper = better Smile

cheers,

Jess

Sounds like you need a scroll saw to do the cutting and a Dremel to do the finishing. Unfortunately, Dremel has discontinued the scroll saw. A good low-priced scroll saw can be found at Lowes; it is the Hitachi CW40 and sells for less than $200.
