What bit do i use to grind off the sharp edges of rocks and minerals before i put them in my tumbler?

Any stone would do in that case. Just apply the rough rule....rough grinding, use a rough stone. Fine grinding, fine stone. It might eat the stone, depending on the rock, but you'll always have more.

Trust me. After a few years Dremeling, you're going to find out one thing above all others. You'll end up with a bin full of danged stones that you'll be looking for creative things to do with them. Every accessory set there is has them. That set you picked up last week at BigLots for the cutoff wheels? Five more. They're multiplying!

Seriously, though. Rough for rough. Fine for fine. You can't really go wrong. Just wear your eye protectors while experimenting.
