I used both for the first time yesterday. I was cutting Prego flooring.

The unit got pretty darn hot... I had to use some cloth to hold it. I heard if I increase the speed further it can sometimes run cooler.

But the 670 didn't say what speed to go at.

I found at high speeds, the Prego started to burn and sometimes sparks flew.. as though I was hitting metal (I wasn't)

So far I'm not impressed. I will try it a bit more though.

TRY THE MS400 MULTISAW ATTACHMENT. HOME DEPOT $35.00. USE A BANDSAW, HAS 1/4 BLADE AND CUTS 1/1/4" THICK WOOD.

USING A TOWEL OVER THE VENTS COULD MELT DOWN OF YOUR 4000.

SAFETY FIRST, NOW TURN ON THE TOOL
