Hi, does anyone know if the new 4000 tool will fit in the case for the 400 XPR? My old dremel was stolen and I bought the new 4000 as a replacement but I really don't like the style of the new case.

I just got a 4000 because my 400XPR burned up.  The 4000 was a warranty replacement.  When I got the 400XPR I got the set with flex shaft, planer, multi-saw and other stuff.  It came in a case that held all the tools.  It also holds 4 of the accessory kit boxes.  Really a great case.  The 4000 does fit in it but it doesn't match the molding since the shape is different than the 400XPR which is not problem at all.  I would recommend this case to anyone even if you don't have or need the other attachments.  I don't have the case that would have come with the 400XPR tool itself so I don't know if the 4000 will fit in it.  I just wanted to say if you need a case for the 4000 and the one you have doesn't work well, you may want to consider the case I mentioned.
