I have a Dremel model 1, metal case, papers & about 15 original bits. In excellent condition. Is this of any value?

Hi Jim - this is Beth from Dremel.  WOW, your model #1 is a very old tool.  That had been released out between the years of 1935-1966. You had asked if it was of value. This is a hard question to answer as "Something is of value only as to what someone will pay".  Here at Dremel we do have some of these tools as well, so we wouldn't be needing anymore, and if you were going to sell it, well, I really couldn't put a price on it for you.  Otherwise, I can tell you this, if you were interested in "Upgrading" your tool to one of our more current models, then I would ask that you call our Dremel Customer Service Department and we can give you more information in regards to this program.  Please call on our toll free phone number of 1-800-437-3635, Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 6:00  pm, CST.  Have a great day!
