I just purchased the 3000 2/28. I'm intending on using it to sand some detailed wood to begin with, however I want to use it for some other things.
I often cut wood at 45 degree angles to make frames and would like an easy way to do that. Would the router table be good for that? How thick can the wood be to fit under it? Also, any other thing to aide in making frames, guiding perfect cuts, etc.
I also saw the mitre guide. Would that work? I happen to have a Mikita 3-3/8 compact circular. Maybe that can be used with that, similar to the saw max? Does it work with the 3000?
Another possible thing will be cutting circles. I know there's a circle circle guide? I can also do it freehand, no?
Any advice or info would be helpful.
